Hinter diesem Namen verbirgt sich ein Folkmusikprojekt aus Berlin um den Geiger Axel Muschen.
Zusammen mit seinem Frontmann Torsten Biener(Gesang, Gitarre ) gilt es als Inbegriff einer "Pub-Club-Kneipenband" .
Dabei werden sie je nach Art und Umfang des Events von einem oder mehreren Musikern unterstützt.
Aktuell sind das hauptsächlich
Karsten Frenz (Tenorbanjo), Jan Königmann ( Mandoline, Drums) und andere.
Seit etlichen Jahren erfreuen sie ihr Publikum in etlichen Lokalitäten, überwiegend in Berlin und Brandenburg, mit ihrer erfrischenden Art der Interpretation von
"FIDDLE-FOLK" aus der der ganzen Welt in den unterschiedlichsten Stilen.
Breiten Raum nehmen dabei irisch-amerikanische Traditionals ein.
Songs, die viele gar nicht kennen, sorgen trotzdem für Stimmung, was den Anspruch von Axels-Law ausmacht.
Aber auch hier und da einen Gassenhauer aus der Rock- und Popmusik und warum nicht auch mal einen Schlager in derAxels-Law-Version.
Besonders wichtig ist dabei aber immer der unbedingte Kontakt zu den Gästen, was sich darin ausdrückt, dass die Musiker, obwohl sie ihr Handwerk verstehen, sich
nie ernster nehmen als notwendig.
Der Ablauf folgt nie einem starren Plan sondern mit Witz und Charme der jeweiligen Stimmung.
Das hat zwar manchmal zur Folge, dass auch mal etwas schief geht,
Improvisationstalent gefragt ist, aber das ist eben Murphys L….. äh, AXELS-LAW.

Depending on the type and size of an event, the band is supported by one or more musicians.

The band has been entertaining audiences in all kinds of locations - mainly in Berlin and Brandenburg, with their fresh and innovative interpretation of FIDDLE-FOLK
from all over the world in the most diverse of styles.
Irish-American traditional songs make up a major part of the repertoire, but also less well-known songs come across well and help to create that special atmosphere
which is the trademark of Axels-Law.
Interspersed here and there with major hits from rock and pop music and why not? - even 'Schlager' in the Axels-Law version!
What makes the essence of an Axels-Law
concert is the direct contact to the public which the band creates - though made up of skilled and talented musicians, they maintain a down to earth relationship
with their audience.
This can sometimes lead to a slip up or two calling for a talent for improvisation, but that is just Murphys L….. ehmm, AXELS-LAW.
